Myofascial Roll and Release

Self Myofascial Release (SMR) is a prop assisted, self massage used to release muscle tension, improve flexibility and enhance movement efficiency, In Roll & Release we will address hips, low back and surrounding well known areas of tension and stress, aiming to unwind and create a sense of ease in the body and the mind. SMR can be an uncomfortable experience, but with consistent practice you could notice benefits of: decreased muscle soreness, increase in overall joint mobility, stress relief, ease of daily movements and improved circulation.
Your body is composed of much more than muscle and bone. Fascia is an interconnected system that runs continuously throughout the entire body, head to toe, front to back, and side to side. Fascia surrounds the bones and organs, it connects bone to bone and muscle to bone. It surrounds groups of muscles as well as individual muscles. Your fascia plays a huge role in how your body interprets the world around you and in how your body communicates with your nervous system.
